The Annual Conference of WEC Estonia takes place on the 3rd of December 2024

The Annual Conference of the World Energy Council Estonia is taking place on the 3rd of December 2024 in Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. The title of the event is “Energy Sector as a Backbone of a Competitive Economy”. 

This invitation only event is full of highly interesting presentations and discussions starting with the Minister of Climate and ending with the CEO’s of the biggest energy companies in the Baltic States.

Maailma Energeetikanõukogu Eesti Rahvuskomitee missiooniks on luua rahvusvahelisele koostööle tuginev teaduspõhine keskkond jätkusuutlikku energeetika kujundamiseks Eestis.

WEC ja Eesti ajalugu

Eesti võeti vastu WEC-i liikmeks 29. juunil 1937.aastal Pariisis. Eestit esindas Rahvuslik Jõukomitee eesotsas direktor J. Veeruse ja professor P. Kogermaniga.
